The auto plant in Elkton loads in Omnisource gondolas. The usually stage the empties in Elkton but maybe they are taking them all the way to Bad Axe and spotting them on the return trip west to Saginaw. I have no idea why they would haul them south of Bad Axe.

Hesr just came back into bad axe from there south run with two tank cars and 3 gondolas. Two red white and blue rail America units for power.
No idea, I see between 2-4 maybe once every other week or so parked in the yard with other cars prepared to run south. They have omnisource markings.

That was my thought that they were just bringing them to bad axe in order to drop them at elkton later, but there have been multiple times I have seen them coming from south of town with gondolas in tow.

4:00, GDLK 303 dropped off like 20-30 cars at Hughart Yard when I drove southbound on US131 freeway. I noticed GDLK 303 is idling with engines facing southbound as well with about 15 cars by the Burton St overpass

Grand Elk Hughart Yard in Grand Rapids has 2 lines of cars on the furthest tracks in the way back by the stone walls of as 1pm. Those cars will likely be on GDLK 303 soon?
