Fourth of July train!!!! I caught northbound train 382 with four CN ET44AC looking units! It had 113 cars and cleared 13 Mile Road, Fraser at 4:38 p.m.

You know, with all those 50 emojis used - I can't help but relate that to railroading.

So you've got a locomotive with several cars coming back (backing up) to make a joint, he's rolling back, and the conductor is counting him down over the radio... "5 cars...4...3..." and the engineer is coming back a bit too fast, so the conductor now says...."2...EASY, EASY....1...1/2 a car...20 feet, 10 feet, THAT'LL DO"

SB 515 with 5430 again today and a very long cut of loaded centerbeams followed by six boxcars passed MP 22.5 at 8:20 am, a bit later than usual.

NB 515 went past MP 22.5 at around 2:30 with many empty centerbeams, a few loaded ones, boxcars, etc. Long train.

M382 through Common Rd. @ 15:03. CN 2866 & 3031 with 106 cars. Moving at a slower speed than usual.

Yes, guess "THAT'LL DO!!!!" I am familiar with that term! I remember MTM jargon too!

Thank you Rodney! Yes I was on my bicycle! Even though they were modern "High Horsepower" locomotives, it was still great to witness! All four were powering! I could feel the heat as it passed!!!!

Today I caught northbound 382 from a few blocks away (could not get to tracks in time)! Masonic Road around 3:20 p.m. This time it was two CN ET44ACs and approx. 107 cars!

Q116 east appeared on mp205 cam shortly before 13:27. CN duo #8847 + #8809. All intermodal today. 648 axles.
-- As of around 14:30, it got lined to take the Chicago Wye SB at Durand. It met E251 in the Shaftsburg area.

M394 east appeared on mp205 cam at 15:05. CN duo #2919 + ex-CREX #2766 + BNSF #2968 + CN duo #4939 + #4940. All four trailing units are rf.

116 went by around 4 pm.

OK, where is this train now (4:37 p.m.)? Does it work Flint? What time is is expected in the Port Huron area? "GOOD CATCH!!!!"

As of this post and time, it's soon to pass by Durand Union Station, and doesn't work Flint, so as it is, lined to keep trekkin' beyond there.

I can't quite predict its PH arrival time though, especially when there's no ATCS signal between Flint/PH.

I wanted to know because I could have sent my friend Roger (who has a loaned 35mm Canon) to capture this for me! He is busy with family and won't be able to get!

SB 515 with 5430 again passed MP 22.5 at 7:43 am. It had eight gondolas on the front end (probably for DCON, which is more than usual), a tank, a 50 foot grey boxcar I have seen on it before (maybe used as a spacer for hazardous material?), a ton of loaded centerbeams and about 8 or 9 boxcars for Chrysler.
