CN Train Location Updates - September 2022

116 went past Opdyke Road, MP 22.2 at 6:45 pm with a long train of stacks and racks.

At 8 pm NB Train 507 and what I presume is SB 450 (no containers) had a locomotive to locomotive meet out back as they passed each other at speed at MP 22.5, something that even with double track doesn't happen so precisely too often. Only the second or third time I have seen it.

EB A45081 07 w CN 8915/CN 8910 at MP 52.7 of the CN Manistique Subdivision at 12:00 on 09/07/2022 with a short twelve car train today.

Another one from the UP: technically NB but going EB thru the UP, A45181 (Green Bay to SSM) was thru Engadine, MI at 17:00 w CN 8019 up front and mid DPU CN 8802 en route to Canada.

Cool! It is true that old "Dash 8 variants" are coming back! They're being re-activated for the "Grain Shipping" season!!!! We shall see some "Cowls" again soon too!!!! This morning (Sept. 8 ) another IC C40-8W "Blue Devil" came into Michigan!!!! It is IC 2463! It was last reported on "Heritage Units" in Edwarsburg @ 7:06 a.m. heading east (by NashRailfanYT)! What may have been Train 508 just went by MP 22.5 at 7:30 pm with a some mixed freight and no containers. Short train. An 8800 and an 8900.

Followed closely by SB Train 513 with 5450 and a few tank cars.

And at 8 pm Train 507 is rolling by with a 5400 and an 8900 with a lot of mixed at the headend, containers on the rear.

SB 515 with 5450 again just went by MP 22.5 on the Holly to start its day. Short Friday train.
