LV-4 was by CP Lou around 3pm, returning from the Highland Park Industrial with 3 Covered Hoppers from JSP, 2 Boxcars from Friendship Materials, and 3 Tanks from either Quaker or PVS. They picked up 4 Loaded Scrap Gons from Ferrous.

I had noticed the HAWK signals while cruising through google street view before.
I couldn't find that they can be used for anything but pedestrian crossings or a version for emergency vehicle road entrances.
I just checked the online Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices

I used to drive around that area a lot for work. Those have been there since since at least 2009.

NS 5219 returning to North Yard with Autoracks from Mack.

LV-9, NS 3283 is at Michigan Ave. Returning to Livernois with 12 cars from Kenwal Steel.

NS 5011 is at Forest Lawn with Autoracks for Mack Yard.

NS 5224 on Trenton 3, working in Riverview.

Tank cars probably from PVS. I haven’t seen anything at Quaker in a long time.

Friendship Brick is cramped. Barely enough room for a boxcar or the bricks.

MY-6. Dunno why it’s the only one they address as ‘MY’ but that’s it. The rest of the north yard and macks are NY.
