L303-17 @ 11:40am is now starting their day. Stated one engine has 1,200 and another one has 1,100 gallons of fuel. CSX #406 and CSX #7788 are their engines.

L303-17 @ 12:02 had Job Briefing with RN Dispatcher in Grand Rapids, MI: CSX #406 + CSX #7788 with 80 cars (43 loads and 37 empties), 7,093 tons and 4,792 ft long. He has set offs in Lansing. They are still doubling (building) up their train and will depart after that. Assuming they have those 5 Well Cars with double stacked containers inbound for Detroit

CSX #406 has 1200 gallons of fuel and CSX #7788 has 1100 gallons of fuel.

16:06 - L303-17 calling clear for Okemos ~ CH 81. They met L302-17 at Trowbridge with the latter taking the siding.

East of Ensel Yard, L303 had 49 cars, including the articulating intermodal set, which I counted as five individual cars. L302's crew asked about them, with L303's crew replying that it was a "test train for CP" - laughs were heard in the background. L303 dropped 35 cars at Lansing, picking up 4. L302 has 45 to drop. No mention was made of the decision to run the 104 car L302 thru the siding to pass the 49 car L303. With the western axle count, L302's pickup count returns to 3 cars. During the meet, the crew remarked feeling bad for the crews tomorrow night, I presume they are referring to L304 given they are a Sunday-Thursday operation.
