JAIL is tooling around just in Mason today, working Michigan packaging and possibly some transloads. CN interchanges w them today so possibly a night run NB to Lansing tonight.

Grand elk north across 92nd st in Byron Center at 1:58pm. 11 cars with two large locos leading, probably 4009 as one of them. Seen from across the wetlands.

Back south at 5:50pm, wamx 4009 leading a 2nd loco and 13ish cars.

Z151-09 @ 10:04 southbound reported at Comstock Park, MQT #3391, MQT #3389, MQT #3406, MQT #3408 and 46 cars

Michigan Shore Z627 os Grand Haven @ 10:45 Southbound MMRR 2170 leading

Z151-09 @ 11:00 arrived at Wyoming Yard and tying down their 46 cars. They will triple up their northbound trip shortly. Maybe departing in an hour or so.

Z439-09 Hughart Runner to Wyoming Yard @ 12:23 heard talking to Tower. They are awaiting a signal at Pleasant St mp 151.3 with WAMX #4190 and 8 cars

Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 12:35pm. About 10 cars, didn't see the power.

Z151 is almost ready to depart Wyoming Yard for parts North

Grand Elk south through Byron Center at 5:55pm, WAMX 4009 leading a 2nd motor and 14 cars - mix of boxcars, covered hoppers, tank cars, and open hoppers.

The Elk was in Plainwell at 8:45. Didn't see it, but the horn sounded like they may be headed for Otsego. I can still hear them on the scanner a half hour later so I suspect that is indeed the case.

I am outside and from my house on top of the hill here on 7th st. I could hear the Elk at the G Ave, Allen St and Mosel St crossings as it was heading back into Kalamazoo. This was at 10:20 and I can still hear it as it gets closer to downtown past the Graphic Packaging plant.

Presume the GDLK horn heard in the distance around Wyoming at 11:31 pm

Multiple train horns in the Wyoming Area at 11:35 pm. Maybe a GDLK switcher?

Back south at 8:10ish, 3807 leading a 2nd motor and 20-30 cars. Wind from east, can still hear them at 8:34pm.

Elk in Plainwell about 10:25PM.

Grand Elk just went by the Elkhart cam on its way to the Elkhart yard. Two engines up front (missed the road numbers) and 23 cars.

The Elk just went by the Elkhart cam at 10:04am back towards Kalamazoo led by WAMX 4209 and WAMX 4206 with 12 cars.
