I think the newer scrap gons have a reporting mark of AIMX which from what I can tell is Trinity Rail.
AIMX is American Iron and Metal which is based out of... Quebec. Go figure. Their cars are black with large AIM letters on the side. Built in 2019 and 2020.
Reporting marks were ITIX or something very similar (IT for sure, and the ending X for sure, and I THINK the 3rd was a "I").
Next time you see them be sure to get some reporting marks and we can look it up.
There was an off-white DOW tank car in the consist. I think that may have come from Renosol in Farwell. Seems like a few more tank cars from here should show up in the consists every week.

Left Cadillac for Clare at 0900. Short train today.
I wonder if they have the crews have to be careful sorting the black tank cars between Cadillac (inbound loads) and Kalkaska (outbound butane). It must be challenging from the ground telling where each tank car goes.

Either GLC is/was in TC tonight, or a high rail through the mainline South Airport crossing. Fresh flange marks...

They should put individual numbers on each car.

I have a feeling there coming to Traverse City tomorrow. Wednesday night there was a truck crew in tc plowing the crossings. The crew brought 3 gons to beacon around 12 am to tc last Friday. Seen the cars there the other day. The gons at Beacon Recycling are ready for pickup I think.
