SB passed MP 22.5 on the Holly at 3 am. Didn't get up to look but I am guessing it was the long-delayed 116.

23:57 - EB by MP 225 M2 with 3003 and 2883 leading manifest traffic. A couple loads of wheels thrown in the middle.
00:44 - EB by MP 225 M2 with 8889 and 3166 leading racks and intermodal.

I haven't seen a train 116 the last few days on the Holly. Has it been running?

Between the port strike out west and then the derailment, they’ve had delays. One left Markham around noon yesterday and was thru East Lansing, spotted by amessman, overnight.

07:30 - We had another B731 run last night so now there’s two back to back on M1 in Battle Creek. A491 was at Lacey waiting for EB E270 to Cory Yard to depart.

08:25 - EB E270 with CN 8928/CN 2585 thru Charlotte. Train is for Cory Yard

09:20 - WB P365 thru Charlotte

09:32 - WB Z149 with CN 8834 solo thru Charlotte. Short train again today.

M396 at Helmer Rd

L515 departed Mount Clemens for Nolan/Gillen at 10:45 with tanks and covered hoppers for CargoFlow, and a string of boxes from Chrysler. CN 5430.

M383 by Mount Clemens depot at 11:08. CN/CN/CN (2x1).

Work train in Mount siding with many loaded tie gons followed 383 south and will continue to drop ties from Fraser northward.

Major tie, resurfacing and rail replacement scheduled for the MTC sub this summer and fall in addition to several grade crossing rebuilds underway. The line is crawling with CN workers and trucks. CN police now have two vehicles stationed at the CN Engineering office in Mount Clemens.

A SB 513 went by about ten minutes earlier with 5853 lite.

Track department has a work block between Hope and Cedar for work on the bridge over the Red Cedar river just west of S. Washington Ave at approx MP 219.5.
