IORY delivered a CSX system unit train to the ADBF for MAC in Blissfield for the first time. CSX 867/CSX 3091 are the power and are sitting at the ADBF interchange with IORY. This is either a 24 hour or 32 hour speed load train.

Grank elk south through Byron Center at 3:24pm. Wamx 4124, wamx 4125 and one whole covered hopper.

Also noticed 2-3 covered hoppers parked on the main on the Hamilton Northwestern Railroad line in Holland, just south of i-196 around 3pm today. Perhaps doing some interchange at that point instead of Waverly for whenever they run next? Thought it was a bit odd. Saw MOW working on the north side of the i-196 bridge there on Wednesday.

Z151-26 @ 11:11am heading into Wyoming Yard with 2 SD40-2s and a heavy train. Maybe 40 cars at least. I’m hearing heavy rail screeching at Sunnyside

Z151-26 @ 2:02pm northbound from Lake Michigan Drive with MQT #3406 + MQT #3408 (elephant style) and 116 cars. I am surprised they are using duo SD40-2s in ellie mode and pulling a large freight back north.

They had to turn around these engines in Wyoming Yard for their trip back north

WAMX 4124 leading with a 2nd loco trailing for Grand Elk south at 10:13pm. Locos sounded like they were struggling to keep the train moving, really pulsating. Going to throw a guess of 80ish cars.

They arrived at Hugart Yard in Grand Rapids around 3:17pm. I can see mentioned power and cars above on slow approach from the Burton St overpass.

I also see WAMX #4209(?) shoving cars around for the trip southbound GDLK to pull. I’m assumed WAMX 3531 and WAMX 3534 was the idle engines I saw.

A lot of WFRX 2 bay hoppers was moved from the 36th Yard to Hugart Yard. About 50-60 cars. Saw them at Hugart Yard this morning and at 2:30pm, they moved them again to Wyoming Yard
