Train 507 passed MP 22.5 at 5:30 with just a dozen or so mixed freight cars in front of the the containers. I wonder if there will be a 508 today or if that 148 replaced it? We will see.

7:54 pm edit: Yes, there is a 508 today. Just went by with that 8800/8900 series duo as power, containers in back.

Did anyone here catch yesterday's (9-9) 383? It looks like it may have had IC "Blue Devil" 2457 working! CN is bringing back old Dash 8s/Cowls for the "Grain Rush!!!!" Looks like that may have already started! A couple days ago there were two "Blue Devils" on the Flint Sub. (2457/2463)! "Heritage Units" reports IC 2457 at Toledo, OH yesterday (9-9) as train 382 @ 3:32 p.m.! That is probably for today's northbound 382 as it had to go south yesterday! Is anyone out there catching it? :?: It was heading for Sarnia two days ago!! 😉😁😲😲😁😉😉😁😲😲😁😉😉😁😲😲😁😉😉😁😲😲😁😉😉😁😲😲😁😉😉😁😲😲😁😉😉😁😲😲😁😉😉😁😲😲😁😉😉😁😲😲😁😉

Heritage Units IC 2457 link (reported yesterday in Toledo by SwantonOhioRailfanYT): https://heritageunits.com/locomotive/detail/IC2457
They took A492 to Sarnia, M383 to Toledo where they will be handed off to CSX(?) to go to LTEX. From there they will be parted out before being taken to scrap yard in Cleveland
Man, I read that CN has stopped the "Scrapping" because of the "Grain Shipping" season!!!! How many are now getting "Scrapped!!!!" 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
The rest of the junk dash eights and cowls.

It’s been sold for months. Sometimes it takes time to move these museum pieces to their final destinations. CN Has bought like 125 citi rail locomotives in the last 18 months and they do not need to save two blue devils.

Passing through Bloomfield Hills at 3:56 pm at 50 mph, making up time as it has been four hours since the above report. Crews in both locomotives; Qualifying on the Holly?

Train 507 flying past MP 22.5 at 5:33 pm with the 8800/8900 series duo that powered 508 yesterday.

And at 6:50 pm Train 508 passed by with an 88 or 8900 series and a 5400 with just a few doublestacks up front and a short train.
