GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

The Elk was northbound from Plainwell around 2:30. Not sure about details. I was nearby and was hoping to catch them but they sneaked off. I heard the horn and thought they were heading for Otsego, so I didn't hurry. Oops.
Thanks for the headsup Jim. Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 4:26pm. WAMX 3807, WAMX 4124, and just 6 cars. Two empty centerbeams, couple tank cars and covered hoppers.
Edit: still no GDLK since Monday afternoon as far as I'm aware, so train should still be up in Grand Rapids.
Grand Elk south through Byron Center at 3:23pm. WAMX 3808, WAMX 4002, and WAMX 3807 with 58ish cars. Lots of covered hoppers, some boxcars and tank cars, couple open gondolas, and some empty centerbeams.
GDLK northbound from Plainwell at 4:16 PM. Around 62 cars, give or take a couple, and 3 locos. Didn't get the numbers of the engines. Nice mix of cars including at least 1 loaded center beam.
Tuesday night, CSX D707 set off 20 cars onto Track 7 in Ensel Yard for JAIL. There was a mix of coils, boxcars, rebar and several tank cars, presumably for some transload operations. JAIL took them south Wednesday AM and worked all sorts of customers. I have been busy with family and work and haven't been following em much this week or the last.
