Past MP 22.5 at 11:50 am. Short train. Mostly mixed with some racks on the rear. All three units elephant style. I imagine the UAW strike will be slowing things down on the railroad for a bit.
That was E251

14:15 - E251 thru East Lansing with 2291, 2652, and 3170 leading manifest and rack traffic. They stopped at Cedar on M2 for U714 to take M1.
14:35 - U714 with 2286, 2543, and 2607 by MP 225 with a unit ethanol train. They were on M1 headed towards Okemos.

So we had an Extra 251 today but no regular 251 today? That makes a lot of sense! Railroads!

EB Z148 with CN 8831/CN 2240 and almost-rear DPU CN 3309 and the OCS/business train thru Griffith, IN at 17:45.

CN 3309 just got a slight livery update this week:

It looks like 508 and 507 are waiting for LSRC to go through Holly. That's like 3 trains in 3 minutes there. Virtual traffic jam

I had heard Meijer was carrying it but never looked into it.

Hopefully OCS works the Holly Sub.

M394 east with CP #8157 + CN #2938 stopped west of Trowbridge around 22:43. It lost communication with the CN trailing it. This train appeared on mp205 cam at 22:07. Still stopped there as of the time of this post.

Proceeded at 23:11, clear mp223 just a lil east of Trowbridge at 23:20

Is the new CN unit trailing behind the train at Trowbridge?

Nope. It’s trailing behind Z148 which at 23:30 was at Schoolcraft.

As for Yeungling, I’d say either Spring 2024 or 2025.
