At this time, D706 is starting to get his train together in Grand Rapids.

Anybody else but myself see the third unit on D705 overnight, aka G&W fresh painted unit 3510 lettered for HESR? So new you could still smell the paint when it went by. Most of the other new 3500 series unit coming for other railroads have been former HLCX 1800 series units.

Came up thru Plymouth on q510 a couple days ago HESR 3510. Also saw it coming thru Deshler on webcam

D708-17 departed Howell for Lansing at 16:10. Set off 20 for GLC and picked up 20, all in transfer track work. Nothing parked on the main this weekend.
