Saw a southbound unit sand train in Royal Oak at 8:45pm Friday. It was operated with distributed power, CN 2832, 3045 and 3049 (DPU).

They met M391 just north of the Amtrak station, which had CN 2924 and 2918.

Newer locomotive 3056 leading an eastbound through East Lansing right now. There was also an eastbound about 10 minutes ahead of this with 3 locos but I didn't catch the numbers.

The Pontiac south local is staged to go. Ex MP GP38-2 (wide-spaced radiator fans) leads a long train (20ish cars) of mostly loaded center beams but plastic pellet cars and a few others.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

I saw southbound train 385, Fraser, at 6 p.m. I didn't bike ride to the trax in time!!!! It had CN ES44AC #2917 and CN ET44AC #3033 with 93 cars!!!! I then photographed southbound train 533, at 6:15, with Blue GTW GP9r #4619 and CN SD70M-2 #8962!!!! It had 17 loaded "Well Car" sets!!!! I love that a GP9r was "Paired with a "High Horsepower" loco (and leading)! GTW GP9r locos are not seen as much since there are only 10 remaining (five in GTW Blue)!!!!

:D I miss the "High Hood" locos on the GTW!!!! Here's a picture my Dad (RCJ I) took of the southbound local in 1989 (I was there at age 6):

At the MTM station, Mt. Clemens—I photographed two southbound trains! Train 385 came at 3:00 p.m. with CN ES44AC locos, #2904 and 2805 with 140 cars!!!! Shortly behind, at 3:20, was train 533 (usually these trains run in "Pairs")! It had CN SD70M-2 #8962 and CN painted GTW GP38-2 #5850 with 7 loaded "Well Car" sets!!!!

I saw another train today (4-9) from across Groesbeck! It was a southbound led by "New" CN ET44AC #3005 and a ES44DC (#29XX) with a good amount of "Tank Cars!!!!"
It was heading south through Fraser about 7:45 p.m. Now, is this an "Extra" train or a "New" one? :?: This is not a "Usual" train on the Mt. Clemens Sub.
