I'd guess that was more likely D707.
I'd agree. Those two units have been the Ensel power for the last few weeks.

Mowing above you? Did it look something like this?

No outbound. Power to the tower on the main for 327 later tonight...I suppose power will be a recurring issue with this extension as 335 must be split into 327 and 335 power-wise. I guess Toledo needs to start adding an extra unit or two...

E927-28 southbound cleared Northville about 10 minutes ago, with BNSF 8412 leading.

Earlier (around 21:30), there was a NB just south of Lilley Rd. in Plymouth stopped due to a broken knuckle. Didn't get the train number. Sounded like there was some attempted vandalism earlier; apparently a youth attempted to cut a hose.

It was reported by me in the MI Shortlines Thread. Zack caught the movement on the scanner, but wasn't sure what it was at the time. Also chatter in MI Talk in the G&W Loco Roster Thread. We see ya!

JT I can't wait for the day those executive MACs are gone and you wish you could shoot something other than swoosh MACs, ACes and GEVOs!

I can't wait until they are gone because they are butt ugly and the least photogenic locomotive on BNSF's roster. I look at it this way, if I were a fashion photographer, I surely wouldn't miss ugly models not walking down the runway any more. Same can be said for the Grinstein.

Here's a shot of the head end on the hill near 133rd. Yes, I was up in a tree and the engineer gave me a friendly toot when he spotted me. I have a few shots of the ACe, but I haven't processed those yet.
