12:50 PM: Amtrak 075-20 reported by the DD Mp329.8.
12:51 PM: CSX Y102-20 reported by Graham Junction Mp SF330.5. CSX Engine 4535 and 4 cars.
12:52: CSX I038-20 (?) reported by the DD Mp SF317.4, 428 axles, it was very hard to hear the call out but it did sound like I038 but couldn’t tell engine number.

CSX Q 491 20 departs Pinoca around 12:30. Will meet Q 492 18 at Stouts.

You probably heard on of those David. i038 has been running in the late afternoons or after dark lately

I think this train is headed to the Terrell Sub. CSX is doing a lot of work on the Terrell sub. I'm not sure why.

8:05 AM: NS 740 reported by the CP Lee signal Mp 323.0.

As of 8:09 AM: it’s possible 740 maybe taking the Charlotte District instead of the S-line

Probably going to Allen Steam plant in Belmont. NS will send an occasional 740 that way.

Re W084. Can't be positive but I'd say it is the same train.


Re Milepost for the Freedom Siding. SE Freedom will be around the SF 335. The NE Freedom would be around the SF 333.5. These are approximations.

Looks like CSX Q 652 and Q 653 will be meeting At Mt Holly.

NS P 42 working on the single track between Blacksburg and Grover @ 20:30. The timing is typical. P42 is a Spartanburg to Grover and back local freight.

CSX i 037 22 EC to Monroe 19:45

Q 653 21 EC 1 to Monroe 19.05

This train would meet CSX E 323 20 at Cherryville right at 22:00

8:19 AM: CSX Y102-24 job briefing with AP Dispatcher, CSX engine 4535 and 13 cars, 1,545 feet long.
8:20 AM: CSX Q491-24 copied his EC-1 between NE Freedom and Charlotte Mp SF330.0. No engine number heard unfortunately.

154 was having engine issues down in Spartanburg earlier this morning.

Amtrak 20 was running late this morning as well.

12:37 PM: NS P80’s cab called, NS P15’s crew would take the P80 into Linwood Yard.

CSX Q 652 23 (3335) is meeting CSX K 477 21 (468) at Cherryville. Apparently there is another Q 652, this one of the 21st leaving Charlotte.

The K train will meet Q 652 21 at Mt Holly.


Q 652 21 gets EC1 from Mt Holly to Cherryville. 21:40. Q652 21 will meet Q 653 23 at Cherryville.
