Hopefully not using the same process BNSF used to settle on a scheme for their newly combined railroad

While it is heavy based on CP, I do like the black and yellow on the new livery.

It’s…..so…..awful

Seriously, the cab numbers are tiny and off centered, the coloring is meh (not to mention it looks like matte paint) and the entire thing looks like it was designed by a 5 year old in the back of the family minivan.

Maybe it’ll look better in person but holy hell it seems like Creel & Company can’t get any of the aesthetics right.

Pitiful. Once again, artistic acumen in the railroad world is about as dead as Loewy and Knickerbocker. Looks like the bottom line here was "we got a lot of red paint we need to use". A CP engine that suffered a radiator fan fire.

CP 2816 made her first run on the mainline in over 15 years last night, absolutely incredible that they restored a steam engine just for this merger and got it done as fast as they did.

DC, this wasn't some derelict engine. CP did a complete restoration before it ran back during 2001. It's been stored in their Calgary shop.

I know that, I’m just impressed that they brought it back for this occasion and got the work done as fast as they did to make railworthy (?) again.
