Bad Cropping! What?

Unread post by BB »

Hey guys, I sent this picture to RailPictures.Net to be rejected three times. First was because of poor lighting (too dark) but I made it brighter and resumitted it. Then it came back bad cropping, so I cropped out some of the background and still was rejected. I think it looks cool because it leaning into the curve and the fall colors in the background. Doesn't it look like a picture that would make it to RailPictures :?:

Bad cropping or what ?

Unread post by Scooterb »

I have found alot of times that the rejection for (too dark) has to do with the sky conditions (found this out by numerous rejections) eg. cloudy. If they can see the wheels and some coupler detail that will help.
Another thing to do is go to Railpics forums, there is alot of info there if you go thru it. If you want suggestions on a pic post it in their forums and ask for opinions or pointers on what you can do to make them acceptable.
I had some ? on a couple pics about a month ago and got some helpful suggestions.

Also try this link for other suggestions.
