slide scanner recommendations?

Unread post by GAP »

I have 35 mm slides that I want to convert to save on a flash drive. So I need a slide scanner. Any recommendations or advice as to brands or models that are "best? Any that should be avoided? Any other thoughts or advice would be appreciated also.

Hello GAP!

For slides and negatives and basically anything from photos up to 120, I recommend the Epson V600. I have a large collection of Great Lakes Maritime slides and pictures and those 600's are a true work horse! They are a few years old by now, but you can get them still relatively cheap. Not sure if you have found one by now, but just thought I'd add to your post.

Cheers!
Take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the Ice! lol
