My Friend is looking for a lens for his D70

Hi Guys I have a friend that haves a nikon D70 and he is looking for a lens for it for around 150.00-200.00 and he would like to know where to find one at? Thanks.

Yes he did use google and e bay. But hes new to dslr and he does not know anything about them but he wants to learn. He got a lens off e bay for his D70 but found out it was for canon. So thats why I wanted to ask for some help on used stuff.

In a slight bit of defense, I've found it slightly confusing that Canon has models like the 70D, while Nikon has D70's.
Now, most lenses are all in XXmm - XXmm style (28mm-105mm) and have the brand name on them such as Canon or Nikon. If it's a 3rd party, it'll show what type of mount it comes with...maybe the ebay listing wasn't clear, and well, if the listing isn't clear, shouldn't be buying it to begin with.

Sorry to pile on, but who buys something from ebay and doesn't read the description or at least do a shred of research?

The problem is the guy who had the lens for sale had in the description that it said it would fit all canon and nikon mounts. So with my friend being new to the dslr world he did not know. Hes got the lens up on e bay and trying to resell it.
