South Oakland County Model Railroad Club Visitor Session

Hello fellow model railroaders!

I wanted to share with everyone here an opportunity to come and visit my model railroad club, the South Oakland County Model Railroad Club (SOC) in Hazel Park, MI. Our club celebrates its 70th anniversary this year and models the GTW Holly Subdivision from Detroit to Durand during the period of 1960 to 1985.

Every third Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, we host a visitor session where you can explore our club, see our layout, and socialize with fellow modelers. Our next visitor session is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th, from 10 am to 3 pm. It's a great opportunity to gain inspiration, learn more about model railroad clubs, and see if joining us is the right fit for you.

During our visitor sessions, guests can tour our layout and club room, watch trains run on the layout, get a preview into card order operations, and engage in discussions with our club members.
