Brasseurs Trains in Saginaw Closing up shop

Unread post by MQT1223 »

Sad news out of Saginaw as one of the last true old school model train stores is finally given up. I went to Brasseurs a few times over the years for parts and repairs and a few purchases. Was worth the drive up and the atmosphere in there was unlike a newer store such as Riders.

Not sure how many Ma & Pa train stores remain in Michigan, but that number must be drastically dwindling.

Most businesses in Saginaw are struggling to stay open.

I don't thing Saginaw as a whole has much to do with this one. Sounds like the owner is retiring and his kids are focusing solely on repairs.
