Running Multiple Locomotives On Standard DC

Unread post by rail_watcher »

Is it okay to use multiple locomotives powered by standard DC, as long as they are the same brand and run a similar speed? I have a Walther's Proto GP9 and a Walther's Mainline GP9 that are both DC. They appear to run the same speeds and from everything I have read, they more than likely are the same chassis, just the Proto has a more detailed shell than the Mainline version.

Awesome, thank you. They are both DCC Ready, but I'm just not ready for the upgrade yet! Haha.
