Rapido's PM USRA Double-Sheathed Boxcar

'been kinda quiet around here this summer, so here's a picture of the newly-released Rapido Trains USRA boxcar.

The detailing is exceptional- it even has the correct Carmer coupler lift levers. My only comment would be that the red strikes me as a bit bright. A little bit of weathering will correct that, though.

The PM sold off a lot of these cars before WW2, retired another bunch, converted a number to double-door cars, and the C&O had a number in company service into the 1970s. They weren't very common in revenue service after the war, though.

Thanks for the review. I’ve not been able to find the singles for sale much, just the 4 packs.
