Thanks for the heads up on 1137 and the video link. Another new boxcar logo repaint from YN3 just posted on rrpa is 4771. Also, there are now posted photos of wreck repair CW44-9 439 in fresh YN2 paint, not YN3, after a wreck repair by a contract shop. Some unusual differences with this one and for sure one of a kind.

For those who think wrecked SD70MAC 4542, the unit caught in a land slide may not be repaired, check out the before and after photos on the link below near the bottom of 439. Of course some may say this is a GE and 4542 is an EMD, but we shall see.

Thanks CSX_CO, 2740 was on my watch for list of several 2700 series units, known to be at Huntington Heavy Repair for work and paint. 2751,2752, & 2754 are three more to watch for.

7847 also had the same kind of repairs done a few years ago. It's in YN2 with black numberboards and no window on the nose door.

CSXT 2740, a GP38-2, discovered 3-11-13 in YN3HTM paint.

That leaves us with 35 GP38-2s, 168 EMDs, and 1107 total YN2 units left.

2640 is a YN3 to [YN3] repaint, so no subtraction to the YN2 list.

But, there is a YN2 to YN3 repaint to report tonight. 2720. It DOES NOT have the HTM logo.

This leaves 34 GP38-2s, 167 EMDs, and 1106 total.

EMDs are disappearing at twice the rate of GEs, based on Jan & Feb data.

For those following the boxcar logo repaints. Add MP15AC 1189 and GP38-2 2634. Photos found on Flickr & rppa today. Both units were already YN3, now YN3B. 1189 is the third switcher already with boxcar logo, 2634 the 7th GP38-2.
