How much would it cost me to ship a loaded 40ft intermodal container from Chicago to Hong Kong?

There was an article in Trains Mag a little while back about intermodal traffic and they quoted some generic rates. I was going to guess $3,500+ so $3,000 seems like a good rate.

Its for a school project, has to do with computer recycling, and sometimes containers are sent to Hong Knog for dis-assembly....I guess it was more of a curosity question
