Maintenance replaced the E-Bell at the Garfield Road crossing in Traverse City sometime recently, there is now a new WCH bell there. They left the dead mechanical bell up for some reason.

391 was seen on a train out of Owosso yesterday. It was not leading the consist but this is the first time it's left the yard in quite some time.

It sounds like the larger diesel International Hi-Rail is on the way back to Manton. Something bigger just passed on the tracks here but it didn’t sound like a locomotive and the horn sounds like the typical one on top of a truck. I saw it in TC the other day as well doing track work along River Road.

20:20: 395 leads 396 and a very large train back into Cadillac. Stuff for Kalkaska, Amerhart, and Beacon.

4 Beacon Cars are “parked” along the Boardman Bike Trail in TC, near 14th Street. Likely being picked up next time they visit town.

395 and 396 arrived in Cadillac at 18:27. Very long train with freight for TC and Kalkaska.

FRA train into Cadillac at 1400. Power is 385.

6/26: 383 ran into Cadillac at 19:00 with tankers and a TC run. They left Southbound around 19:35 with the same consist, minus the tankers.

6/27: 383 ran to Traverse City and returned to Cadillac around 17:30.

Might have stored it there for a future run. I’ve seen that done before.

On an unrelated note, they are beginning to tear up the siding near Right Brain in Traverse City.

Incoming Traverse City run! 1 engine running LHF with 1 for Beacon and 2 for Amerhart. Departed Kingsley at 15:24

Traverse City run today. North through Kingsley with a load for Amerhart at 14:56.
