Re: Old EMD's and Light Power
Nice Video, I enjoyed the narration. It adds some interest to me to hear train symbols along with a brief description of what the train does. I like a little signal talk as well.

Re: another signal build
Thanks David,
The dwarf was pretty quick to build, only a few pieces. Not sure on the mast signal, but I am planning on building another similar one and was considering making a video of the build. If and when I do that, I'll keep track of the time and share the video.

Re: another signal build
since my signal has gathered so much interest, I thought I'd put a couple shots of it on the layout. Along with a dwarf, also showcase miniatures. http://railroadfan.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10457/IMG_9173.jpg http://railroadfan.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10457/IMG_9172.jpg http://railroadfan.co...

another signal build
Just finished another signal from showcase miniatures. I purchased individual parts for this one to make a signal that represents the signal that used to protect westbound movements across the diamond in Plymouth. I think it came out pretty good. the tri-color signal housing is a Union Switch and Si...

Nice video, the narration was a bit hard to hear in the beginning over the crossing bells and train sounds.

new, old videos Michigan/ohio
Came across a YouTube channel that I thought people on here might find interesting. Papachoochoo is the name of the channel. He has some neat videos from the late 80's early 90's of Michigan and Ohio. I particularly enjoyed some of his clips from Plymouth showing pushers and cabooses. The videos are...

Re: LONG CSX Trains In Plymouth!
Looks like a nice trip to Plymouth. Nice pictures too! My favorite shot is the Middle one looking east. I like photos that show other details, like the other track in the foreground, a long portion of the train is visible, signals barely visible in the distance and still a nice view of the lead loco...

Re: Richmond, Romeo & Rochester (RR&R)
I understand that. When I had two guys running mine it was about all I could accommodate I think with me making 3, and I was just observing. Although in the future I would like to have one or two operating and one acting as a dispatcher. At this time, it is set up for one person to operate.

Re: Richmond, Romeo & Rochester (RR&R)
Nice that you had an operating session already! I'd like to try operating your layout. I had a couple guys come operate mine for the first time about a week ago and things went pretty well.
Looking forward to more updates.

Plymouth Train order signal
Just finished a train order signal for the layout. It is supposed to represent the train order signal that was next to the Plymouth yard office. I build it using parts purchased from Show Case Miniatures. Its not lit yet but just wanted to see how it looked. Here are a few pictures. http://railroadf...

Re: Trains that used to run along the Plymouth and Grand Rapids subs
nice miny history SD80MAC! thanks for sharing. Now can you do Plymouth/Saginaw/Detroit subs for 1986-1990? LOL that might be a bit much. I know nothing about the Saginaw and Detroit sub trains, so I wouldn’t be the right person to ask. Thats ok I wasn't being completely serious although I would lik...
