Re: Bellevue Terminal to be converted to flat-switching

NS put a ton of money building the Bellevue yard and the Hump on a very busy yard. Not sure what the thinking was to close the Hump. I know that is a bottleneck getting trains in the yard in the past but not rail traffic has slowed some. However NS like other large rail companies are hauling longer...

Re: St. Joe Swing Bridge Work

Thats what 36 track was for. Not that the cars were lost, they were in 36 track after all...it was...where does this one go and when did it get here. It usually just took the effort of someone to do its past history and find the LAST LOGICAL input and then one could usually find out what you needed ...

Re: St. Joe Swing Bridge Work

Same happens with the Holland yard job. I asked the engineer this past weekend about how they communicate with Rouge and get their paperwork. He said they don't. The cars that arrive are entered and then the cars requested by customers comes and on to printer it goes and VIOLA! Our work for the day....

Yes, There's NO plan to start the plant up any time soon. Clueless IMHO. https://oilprice.com Get some information and then....the price of oil determines when production goes up and it is going UP and fracking is going up and pumping oil is UP. Nothing changes the law of supply and demand come nov...

Snoop the internet. Try the CSX Grain Partners. Standish is one and there are other Michigan customers on line.

Try CSX Grain Express in your google search. You probably won't be disappointed.

Re: M trains Grand Rapids Sub

CSX must have a department dedicated to changing train symbols  Like many big companies, they change what can easily be changed, the stuff that really needs to be changed being obfuscated... they hope. EXACTLY! My god, the stuff they used to put up around the system to RALLY THE TROOPS were a...

Ethylene oxide. We used to get it for some greenhouses over in the West Olive area. I believe they parked them at the runaround out on the main south of the Consumers Energy switch..in greater downtown West Olive. But that was more than a few years ago. It's used as a ripening agent...for one applic...

EVEN the officers on scene cannot speculate. The Chief or man in charge could but that doesn't mean they would. No one sticks their collective necks out anymore and for good reason. Notice on MLive and other news/tv sites they don't put up pics of the crash or the cause of the fire anymore...(it's s...

They did say that "It was unconfirmed as to what caused the stoppage." They can't say what the don't know for sure. Doing otherwise is foolish but sometimes they do it and get called out for it. (as they probably should) Now a 'daze' people get upset if you show a picture of the car in a crash...."M...

I know Mark D. was horrible with railfans while he was in charge of ADBF. I don't know anything about Mr. Bagwell, but do y'all think they will be a little more railfan friendly under this new ownership?
Understatement of the year IMHO!
