Well, if you need to see a NP like heritage unit, look up St. CROIX RR,a shortline in Minnesota. If we wait for a heritage unit, from BNSF, it will probably be a widecab. HOHUM. As a former truck driver, I would have to say that it's more to do with how the land is zoned for use, as opposed to playing truckers against rail. Or, the size of the land needed for a given industry location.

I wonder-- are those the original aprons, that were used in the C&O days to load railcars-- even though they have not taken trains across in years. Where do you get them, or make them, as that is not a standard thing to have laying around?

Saw a news story on the phone,from WABTECH, about how G&W will be getting 69 various Dash8, and Dash9, units,for various G&W RR's. These are certified pre- owned units, that will have extended warranties. Delivery is underway, to be complete by December.
