Approx 30 minutes ago saw CSX #6040 - the Waverly yard local engine, headed east towards GR. Saw it between Zeeland and Hudsonville, no cars, just the engine? Fuel run?

N903 tied down at Wells. Consumers could not take the train, so the crew left it in the siding around 1800 hrs. 134 cars, train was cut at 120th ave to clear the intersection.

I found it weird that the crowd was at the depot, with a red/red light at the depot. The signal did not update until literally 5-10 minutes before the train arrived. I did not leave the depot until there was a signal to confirm the wye movement, which I thought was verified with the yellow/red/green...

I read somewhere the train was to be turned. The signal at the Depot was also yellow/red/green. Just like a coal train that takes the west leg of the wye. If it was just going back wouldn't the light be red at the depot? Middle Waverly was yellow red and then changed to red red.
