Re: Pine Junction incident vastly changes the security
This story was a hoax. Hilarious. This story was a hoax. Hilarious. Am I being implicated as the hoaxer? I was reading all about the incident, which prompted the post. I don't make up stories if they didn't happen. Its true. And no we know exactly who made it up. Here is a link with the explanation...

This story was a hoax. The story was made up to make a certain railfan look bad. The people who made up the story admitted this. All of this story is bogus. Do Not Believe

Re: Am I the only one who notices...
the overall lack of railfanning videos in Chicago this past year? I go to YouTube and there's hardly any new videos to be viewed. This is likely just a coincidence but strange nevertheless. I posted several on my channel over the summer. Check me out and if you like it hit that subscribe button. :-...

Re: CSX, CN and where to find odd railcars...
I see you have found the Illinois Railway & their Hudson Bay SD50's I've seen them in Wedron, Illinois a few times, but I never got a chance to take a picture. The one above was in Ottawa. Do you know anything more about them? I know that the owner of both railroads, OmniTrax, likes to switch out p...

Franklin Park is one of my favorite spots, if only for the previous likelihood of getting a Soo Line or DME/ICE unit rolling through, plus I think Indiana Railroad still runs up there now and again. Not sure how that's changed though. Not the best place to pull up the lawnchair though if it's sheer...

Englewood is as dangerous as advertised, but keep your wits and get in and out if you want a shot that bad. I've heard the stories but like I said, many like to exaggerate crime even if they aren't exactly wrong. Have you ever been to Englewood? How much of a risk is it to railfan during daylight, ...

Congress needs to stop thinking they can run a railroad. There is a reason they are at Capitol Hill & not in Ft. Worth, Jacksonville, or Omaha.

What is wrong with it exactly?? Electrical issues. It had problems during the Santa Train run on December 6. She's back in service everybody!! Steve Smedley caught her in a A-B-A consist with 2 GP20's trailing on a heavy westbound. Here are the pictures: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto...

I agree. CP should be, under no circumstances, held liable for another companies actions. CP didn't supply the crew, or the locomotives. Just the train, If Im correct.

Blue Island, IL is a great place to see assortments of locomotives and freight. CSX, CN, IHB & IAIS all own lines there but you could see all 7 Class I RR's power there. P.S.: Great shot of the Ex CNW AC4400CW and I love how it wasnt repainted when it got PTC. Looks promising, how safe and accessib...
