Any info on the Facility that is south of Fostoria at 23 and Green Road?
There a couple of SW's there and a lot of High side gons.
Thanks

On the ground at Rougemere
CSX put several cars on the ground at Rougemere yard yesterday. Right on the Vernier bridge. RJ Corman was just getting unloaded around 4 PM.

Re: Track That Runs Parallel to I-280 in Toledo
If you look close; just south of the NS bridge; there is an old school Tell-tail. The ropes are long gone, but the pole is still there! You can see it clearly on Bing Maps Street side view.

Re: Hoosier State
The weather was not so good this weekend, so we did not attempt to catch the Hoosier State. We did get a break Monday morning. So we decided to get some shots of Metra and Amtrak trains from the Roosevelt Road bridge. Low and Behold; tacked on to the rear of an Amtrak train was the Hoosier state wit...

Re: Henry Ford GG1
I was in Cooperstown Junction last year. The GG1's were parked in the woods a couple hundred yards off the main line; However, the track had been severed from the main and no longer accessible.

Interurban cars near West Salem
While traveling near West Salem, OH this Sunday, We ran across 2 old streetcars or Interurban cars in a yard on the west side of Zimmerman Rd north of 111 (Jeffery Rd). Not far from Dragway 42.
Does anyone have any info on these cars?
Thanks, Terry

Does anyone know what is going on there.
All of the equipment that was downtown has been moved to the far West end of the yard.
I also did not see steamer or the MRS-1 at the storage yard. The ORHS CF7 was in the storage yard by the Scotts plant.
Any info?
Thanks, Terry

Re: Barr Mills Alco Switcher
If it was a coal facility, there Is no trace of it now. inside the loop track is a Farmhouse and Barn. There is a truck scale next to the locomotive.

Re: Barr Mills Alco Switcher
Yes. Not really buried too bad. The entire loop track appears to be intact with the exception of where it is severed from the main.
I will try and post a picture later.

Barr Mills Alco Switcher
When passing through Sugar Creek last weekend; we noticed a loop track going east off the OC main in Barr Mills, just north of Sugar Creek. This track is severed from the main but the loop is still intact and has an old Alco switcher on it sitting next to a truck scale house. My question is; what wa...
