Re: Lake State on the ground in Kawkawlin
It was my understanding, the H&E owns the trackage up to Wheeler Rd. Any trackage north of Wheeler Rd is LSRC trackage. Would that be correct ??

Pray tell, according to YOU, what is an accurate site ????Your first mistake was using the Diesel Shop as your only resource. I've found lots of mistakes on that site.

I looked at the Diesel Shop for LSRC locomotive roster, and there are NO SD-60's listed.

Re: LSRC Welded Rail Train
Thanks for the information and update. It's brand new rail, started laying just south of Twining and went south from there. Also, some 136# was laid through Mt Morris, off the same train.

WOW, again ---I'm really hoping that the fines NS is going to incur fines in the billions, they're worth 55 billion dollars, they can afford it.

Re: East Palestine, Ohio Major NS Derailment
I watch a lot of European Railroad videos, especially the DB in Germany. The Railroading in that region is starkly different than here in the States. One of the things I have noticed is, "generally speaking", most of the freight traffic is hauled using one (maybe two) locomotives, with train lengths...

Re: Derailment in Springfield, OH Today.
Nothing personal with this comment, but I think this is the absolutely dumbest thing I have read in a long time. Re: East Palestine, Ohio Major NS Derailment
It is my understanding, that DD are placed every 20-30 miles. That on the surface, seems to be adequate. But no matter what guideline, rule, regulation, or policy one develops, NOTHING is 100% fool proof.
