Would you rather your son joined the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine's or Coast Guard?
The Air Force, where the worst thing they have to deal with is the air conditioner breaking down.

Would you rather have loved school but hate the rest of your life or the opposite?

Re: The new kid on the block | MEI rebuilt CSX GP40-3 chase

Thanks for posting David. I like watching locals in action. The warehouse looks likes Evans Distributers in the old Kelsey Hayes plant. Next door is a Home Depot lumber distributer also part of the old Kelsey Hayes. The covered hoppers are for Yapp USA or Plastic Onium. The gondolas were from the Re...

Re: Flat Rock Yard...rebirth? sort of

I would have thought so too but the satellite view showed only a few cars in the docks. Satellite views shows the vehicle transloading ramps in the Flat Rock area with little activity yet the daily Flat Rock trains have a lot of loaded Bi and Tri levels. Ford Dearborn Assembly must account for many ...

Re: Shortline Train Location Updates - May 2024

Thank you. Is the sand being transloaded elsewhere or has it stopped? Did they ever get any sand traffic? Looking north from Ann St the last couple days - it looks like the sand transload has been removed except for the yellow structure for the hooking on a safety harness for working on on the top o...

Re: DIANN Jct questions part two

I am not aware of any ZFS traffic interchanged at Diann but perhaps someone else may know better. I think at one time some fertilizer was exchanged there but I may be misremembering what the commodity was and I don't know if it's current. I did not hear about a customer locating at Diann. Perhaps th...
