Local news reporting 09:52 train 351 hit and killed trespasser just west of Kalamazoo, Howard Street (Knollwood area). Train 350 held west near Dowagiac. Train 365 east of Kalamazoo and 353 held in Battle Creek. No movements at 12:08 Eastern.

351 was 7 hrs 49 min LT leaving Jackson and 353 is following over 3 hrs LT.

According to Amtrak Alerts on Twitter feed, "mechanical issues" for 351 that caused "congestion".

Very interesting to see the five double stack international 40ft containers on Q326/30. I assume they're going to Grand Rapids. Not sure how/when they'll get unloaded or where they'll end up.
