Just found this fragment of rail line in Pittsburgh's south side. It's located near Saw Mill Run Boulevard and also has a bridge crossing over Interstate 376.

Anyone know what the backstory behind this is?

CSX Grain train NB through Plymouth on clear signals as of 13:18. Power is 4810 (SD70AC) and 973.

NB–EB stack train through Plymouth at 13:37, led by CSXT ET44AH #3269 solo.

Mixed freight through Plymouth at 19:30. Turning from NB Toledo Sub to EB Detroit Sub.

L302 Westbound through Plymouth at 18:25. Lead engine is 3408, going solo.

WB to SB CSX mixed freight heading thru Plymouth Michigan as of 14:59.

LSRC southbound through Novi. Passed beneath Novi Rd. at 17:36 EST.

Parked on the mainline at 17:42.

Northwards through Plymouth at 16:13.

Signals in Plymouth are showing Clear for a NB train.

Mixed freight with 837 leading heading west on Plymouth Sub. Seen at Beck Road crossing at 18:17.

As of 18:20 the signal for EB trains on the east side of Beck is clear.

Anyone know what happened to Zeeland Lumber or when they quit rail?

So just northwest of the Willow Run Airport there's this wye that used to lead to a factory just west of Willow Run, and that factory (42.235368, -83.558107) has a bunch of tracks that have been paved over.
