@ ~Z~ « Mon 6:29:49 am »
walked to Culver’s and back with kiddo and his friend, redeemed free scoopie cup of custard. Jogged some of the return as it started to drizzle.

100 percent agree
@ Jetlink « Sun 10:00:10 pm »
I have a 2010 Subaru outback. Holy crud. That thing is awesome in the snow. Put some decent all season tires on it shortly after I got it and I cannot believe how well it handles the crud. I can confidently drive at or near the speed limit and under control on just about any surface. Limiting factor is only other slower moving traffic. Now maintaining an older Subaru on the other hand has been a little pricier than I expected. But I would totally buy another one. It handles better than my 4x4 Yukon xl which is also pretty darn good in the snow.

@ Chip « Sun 7:55:24 pm »
My next vehicle will be a 4x4 for various reasons. Snow driving being one of them.
@ AARR « Sun 7:30:47 pm »
I have a little Honda Fit. I am surprised at how well it handles in the snow. Of course I’m old and don’t do crazy driving in the snow either.
@ David Collins « Sun 5:14:34 pm »
In my opinion, she should’ve never gotten it in the first place
@ David Collins « Sun 5:14:06 pm »
It did ok, she’s already talking about bailing on it after today
@ David Collins « Sun 5:13:35 pm »
This was the first real snow trial for her little scion

@ Jetlink « Sun 4:51:52 pm »
And that doesn’t just mean not speeding. Rash decisions at intersections, poor lane changes and choices. All part of it too. When stressed or in a hurry we prioritize things that aren’t really important sometimes. I’ve done it. And been sorry. More than once sadly.
@ Jetlink « Sun 4:51:10 pm »
Yes. Drive safely.

Then went to millennium park. Daughter played at a playground there. Then went to navy pier and rode Ferris wheel. Then rode water taxi to Michigan ave. Walked magnificent mile. Lunch at shake shack. Then walked to German market again. Still crowded. left and went to Macy’s. Then got caught in the middle of a Palestinian anti us-Israel protest. Then went to Starbucks. Back to German market. Then back to bus.
@ Jetlink « Sat 7:15:04 pm »
Had a fun day. The German market was neat. And the main reason we came. But it was so crowded you couldn’t even walk through. Shove through only. Not fun. Bought some food at one of the stands then left.

So I made friends with the kid sitting next to me. His name is Matt. He plays trumpet in the band in Grand Ledge.
@ Jetlink « Sat 7:05:17 pm »
Nope. No other adults to sit with. I was the 3rd to the last one on the bus. Seat available were sparse.
