On the plus side Z’s staff were friendly and professional. They have a good culture.
@ AARR « Tue 4:27:05 pm »
And their $10 lava cake was good and the portion generous but overpriced.
@ AARR « Tue 4:25:10 pm »
I won’t be going back there. Penn Station has better sandwiches IMO.
@ AARR « Tue 4:24:03 pm »
Zingermans Deli used be one of my top places to eat. However, their sandwiches are now $15-$20 each and they are meh IMHO.
@ AARR « Tue 4:21:18 pm »
Wouldn’t recommend road bikes. Wide tires will be better.
@ Jetlink « Tue 4:15:23 pm »
Sounds fun
@ AARR « Tue 3:54:55 pm »
Now I see what we did. We went through four different parks on one bike path.

Live from Ann Arbor where Mrs AARR and I are biking the Rambler Trail and Freudenburg Park. Not sure where one ends and the other begins though.

14.5 miles total. 15.0 mph avg. Beautiful night. Beautiful mostly full moon. Just pedaled gently and enjoyed my time out.

Bikey complete. 2 short rides. Up to the school to watch the marching band run through their show at the end of practice. And return.

Their single scoop would be like two of mine so that was nice too

Fowlers Icecream in St. Clair was nice. I had PB Carmel Cookie Dough...nom nom nom
@ AARR « Mon 5:23:58 pm »
Ravens in Port Huron is a nice restaurant although they did not have multigrain bread in stock today and the substitute was just a thicker Wonder Bread (my evaluation).
@ AARR « Mon 5:22:04 pm »
Mrs. AARR and I only biked around Port Huron today. Next year we will do the Marine City (or maybe Algonac) to Port Huron trip.
@ AARR « Mon 5:20:56 pm »
So it is possible to bike from Marine City to Port Huron but the trail is poorly marked and there is some edge of the road biking involved. If you make it without making at least one wrong turn you are probably lucky.
@ AARR « Mon 5:19:35 pm »
It’s not only microwaves I lack knowledge about :-)
@ ~Z~ « Mon 5:14:37 pm »
did mrs AARR talk to you about your lack of microwave knowledge, or does she possess that knowledge for her preparing of your post-workout chowdowns?
@ cole1020 « Mon 3:54:22 pm »
has started a new topic: Inefficient Diamond?
@ AARR « Mon 2:50:01 pm »
But it was a nice day
@ AARR « Mon 2:49:47 pm »
I think you guys would have been more interested talking about Port Huron railroads than Mrs AARR was 🙂

If I don’t plan far enough ahead to defrost them slowly.
@ SD80MAC « Mon 2:15:22 pm »
but yeah, if I do have to reheat anything, it’s usually in the oven
@ SD80MAC « Mon 2:15:00 pm »
Don’t usually have leftovers of anything
@ Jetlink « Mon 2:14:53 pm »
a sink full of warm water defrosts most otherthings quickly enough.
@ Jetlink « Mon 2:14:21 pm »
I don’t cook in the microwave. Do use it to reheat leftovers and defrost my frozen homemade soup stocks in a pinch though.
@ ~Z~ « Mon 1:47:23 pm »
what appliance do you use to reheat leftovers? air fryer?
And I'm guessing you don't reheat food at your office then?
@ SD80MAC « Mon 1:43:43 pm »
I couldn’t tell you the last time I cooked something in a microwave
@ ~Z~ « Mon 1:42:57 pm »
I certainly did - learned that way back when making pizza rolls. Line them all up on the outside of the plate in a circle to evenly cook. Any in the center would be colder. Now we just use the toaster oven for pizza rolls :)
@ AARR « Mon 1:04:45 pm »
Nope
@ Jetlink « Mon 12:56:30 pm »
Did you know that items placed closer to the outside edges of a microwave oven heat more rapidly than items placed towards the center?
@ Jetlink « Mon 12:39:42 pm »
indeed. I am getting a lot of outside jobs done (that I had been neglecting all summer) the last few weeks.
@ AARR « Mon 12:36:21 pm »
