Decent thunderstorms inbound into Kent County and vacinity as I type.

Watched a Coopers devour a decent sized Flicker a couple winters ago in the lakeside yard. Only thing left was feathers, the beak and the feet.

Coopers Hawks are smaller, Kestrels are even smaller but lightning fast. Dive and whack, dinner is served.
@ Doktor No « Sat 11:43:02 am »
Coopers Hawk. Kestrels too. Toss in an occasional Peragrine.

To your point it surprises me the hawks don’t come around more
@ AARR « Sat 9:47:01 am »
Good point DaveO. A few Red-Tails have shown up occasionally but usually it’s a smaller type of hawk (whose name I can’t think of at the moment).
DaveO wrote: AARR if both birds and animals not around, I suspect a Red-Tailed Hawk is. Gives a different meaning to bird feeder

Had all four out while I was in college. Got knocked out. Recovered quickly 2 were impacted pretty bad I guess. Don’t remember much more than that. Was 25 years ago.

@ DaveO « Thu 9:00:29 pm »
To the extent possible, rinse, rinse and rinse. Pain killers won’t do a thing for the bad breath.
@ ~Z~ « Thu 8:11:05 pm »
they knocked me out to extract the 4. lots of gauze for a couple days.
@ SD80MAC « Thu 7:49:34 pm »
So far I’ve eaten some jello and a smoothie
@ SD80MAC « Thu 7:49:17 pm »
Mine both came out very easily. The actual extractions took less than 2 minutes
@ DaveO « Thu 4:33:22 pm »
I had all 4 out at once. 2 were easy, the other 2 had to be broken and the roots extracted. Went grocery shopping on the way home.
@ AARR « Thu 4:27:58 pm »
I lucked out :)
@ AARR « Thu 4:27:10 pm »
Still have 3 wisdom teeth. No issues with them. The 4th grew in at an angle was so exposed by the time I was ready that it was pulled without any novacane/shot. It actually came out relatively easy.
@ SD80MAC « Thu 4:11:42 pm »
bottom ones never came in so they said we can leave them
@ ~Z~ « Thu 3:56:59 pm »
that sounds like a wise choice :) i had all 4 taken out as none were in that great of shape.
