David, your Where Is It picture was removed because ConrailDetroit’s has not been guessed yet. Please repost afterwards because it looked good.

That’s going to be a good game. The bills were literally built for the sole purpose of beating the Chiefs.

@ ~Z~ « Sat 3:05:11 pm »
sledding complete. took one pretty decent fall on the icy hill, good otherwise.
@ David Collins « Sat 1:18:03 pm »
My dad has a CPAP machine, if he doesn’t wear it, it sounds like a K5LLA horn is being blasted in my house
@ ~Z~ « Sat 1:04:42 pm »
sure, a number of people have them. my bro-in-law uses one as he’s had a couple of nasal surgeries over the years. Was just curious what might be causing your apnea
@ SD80MAC « Sat 12:49:37 pm »
Sleep apnea is a pretty common ailment, I know lots of people who have CPAPs for sleep apnea

I had finished my morning route and went and told the boss I was off work until further(Doctor) notice. I could no longer concentrate, my brain was in a fog.
@ DaveO « Sat 12:09:14 pm »
Overweight fat in the nasal passages is probably most common. So my weight loss took care of that. But there are other causes.
@ David Collins « Sat 12:02:19 pm »

i usually associate the CPAP machines with overweight or high blood pressure issues. neither of those sound like sd80mac, so something else sinus related?
@ DaveO « Sat 11:45:56 am »
My machine has a heated humidifier. Great for the winter dryness. Whenever I got a respiratory ailment, just cranked the temperature to high. No need to use the old Vicks room humidifier.

taking daughter sledding today, hopefully I don’t destroy my joints on the jumps

No longer fall because the knees give out. No longer use the CPAP machine. Both of those are huge in the overall health picture.

I did the 4 day/ 3 night trip across the Grand Canyon. I used the packaged electrolytes in my genuine BPA 100 degree water bottle. YUK.

Depends. 2 weeks ago at Brighton State Park I turned back after a 1/4 mile. Now that was hilly and ice covered. I use Yaktrax which works very well on the ice. I have done the 6 mile trail out there. Beyond 2 miles I need to be feeling good.
@ AARR « Sat 9:16:28 am »
How far can you walk before you have discomfort?
@ DaveO « Sat 9:16:01 am »
I have membership at the Detroit Zoo. Did about 1.5 miles last week. Can duck indoors to warm up and they keep the paths clear of snow and ice.
@ AARR « Sat 9:15:48 am »
I go through about one of those every 15-20 miles depending on heat/humidity
@ AARR « Sat 9:14:45 am »
Personally I like a 24 oz. mixture of 80-90% water, the rest orange juice, a table spoon of sugar and a half to a tablespoon (depending on heat and humidity) of salt

Maybe fueling up at Marathon. Had to give up running/jogging somewhere around 20 years old. Hip issue which is also why I had to give up bike riding about 10 years ago.
@ AARR « Sat 9:13:15 am »
I know several endurance athletes that like room temperature coke/pepsi to boost their energy during iron-mans/marathons/ etc.

And a bowl of ice cream just now. Another 6 months of shoulder rehab to go. Pepsi helps me feel better at least for a little while. Normal consumption is 5 cans a day.
@ ~Z~ « Sat 8:51:53 am »
wait, 3rd Pepsi this morning? As in 3 cans of pop in the morning?
@ DaveO « Sat 8:07:34 am »
ECO mode now turned off. Still can’t believe the furnace fan will not run when heat/cool mode is off.
@ DaveO « Sat 8:05:40 am »
Considering a Nest Thermostat? Consider something else. This morning mine decided both cell phones had left and went to the ECO energy saving/setback mode. Nice, real nice. Heat still running to get back to where is should be.

I would visit Plymouth. Sometimes see 3 trains moving at the wye at the same time. It was/is technically possible to have 4 trains moving at Plymouth Junction.
