A lot of those problems aren’t unique to Tesla, it’s just that Tesla is the highest profile EV maker so you hear about them more

I feel like you just described the EV market as a whole

Sorry Mr. Customer, go down to the Tesla store and see what they’ll give you for it
@ SD80MAC « Thu 9:11:55 am »
A lot of dealers won’t even touch them now. I’ve gotten to the point where if its out of warranty I won’t even make an offer on one

We take lots of them in trade. They’re not worth jack on the used market

With out a charging network there can really be no EVs
@ Jetlink « Thu 7:36:36 am »
Wow. The charging network is where Tesla was kicking it more than the other EV manufacturers imho
@ ~Z~ « Thu 6:46:50 am »
I hear bad things about them as of late, including some rusting/oxidation/water issues in car washes. Tesla laid off their charging network team this week. Not great times there.
@ AARR « Thu 6:05:20 am »
I hear good things about them but they are ugly

Haha indeed, just giving ya some crap. At least you can really claim to still be “flying” the B737 yourself since it isn’t fly-by-wire. Otherwise you could technically claim that the computers are doing the flying by interpreting the inputs

Having watched the boeing FMC software attempt to descend while coupled to the autopilot and autothrottles many times I think we are all better of with a pilot onboard. Like with all forms of automation we aren’t quite to the level we need to be to fully automated yet. Also, we wouldn’t need MCAS at all if there were no pilots. It’s there for us, not the other way around.
