So just deadheading back to chicago through Vegas is the new plan.
@ Jetlink « Thu 10:42:29 pm »
and that makes us not legal for our flights tomorrow due to not enough rest tonight.
@ Jetlink « Thu 10:41:47 pm »
Maybe leaving at 2335 mountain time for SFO
@ Jetlink « Thu 10:41:37 pm »
So company got us a hotel room at the airport since the delay was over 4 hours.
@ Jetlink « Thu 10:41:15 pm »

and probably plenty of water fountains along that 10 mile walk. When I go that far and there's no water, I bring two water bottles. Leave one 2 miles in, leave the second at MP 3.5, walk to the 5 mile marker, head back and collect water bottles as I go.
@ AARR « Thu 5:36:49 pm »
It would be interesting to see everything

5:50 pm departure central time for Denver and then on to San Fransisco.
@ Jetlink « Thu 3:55:40 pm »
10.01 miles on the tracker. Walked about 1.5 laps on the underground tunnel and then walked all of the concourses and above ground connectors. Took a scoche under 3 hours. mileage might be off a tenth or two. Had a little glitch with the tracker. but the time and pace supports over 10.0 miles.
@ Jetlink « Thu 3:53:56 pm »
walky complete
@ ~Z~ « Thu 1:24:02 pm »
I just rebooted the server. I’ll keep an eye on it and see what’s up. There wasn’t much of a load on the server itself, might be an issue at the datacenter.
@ J T « Thu 1:16:53 pm »
very slow loading right now

Are the RailRoadFan.com obituary writers on strike because comedian Richard Lewis died and nobody has written or posted about his death in the obituary section.

thanks. Got my answer. I thought someone here was a poster on another forum I’m a member of but it’s not the same guy.

We used to have 54 hour layovers scheduled in White Plains New York every weekend and over Holidays.
Jet did those many times. In our before kids days Mrs Jet would often come with me. We would take the Metro North from White Plains North station into Grand Central Station and spend the day in Manhattan. Did it two different years over Thanksgiving days too. Good times. And sometimes it was boring.
@ Jetlink « Thu 11:14:21 am »
Jet is hourly :). I specifically made sure I worked today to add an extra days worth of hours onto my Feb Paycheck.
@ ~Z~ « Thu 11:06:51 am »
oh Feb 29th, the day salaried workers basically work for free. Feb is normally good though as get paid the same amount as a 31 day month.

You can only sit in the restaurant/lounge for so many hours per day.

The other day I saw a video of a loaded autorack fully engulfed in flames and today it’s a Boxcar.
