Union Station Fire
WGN reports a fully envolved locomotive fire last night at CUS. Picture taken from another train looks to be a Charger engulfed in flames. There calling it a Metra BNSF locomotive. Chicago Fire had their hands full ventilating the station of smoke. Fire was considered extinquished at 6:45 pm.

Wasn’t a charger. Metra F40PHM-2 #210. Looks like it was the A/C unit above the cab.Super Chief wrote:WGN reports a fully envolved locomotive fire last night at CUS. Agreed! I thought a station in Michigan had caught on fire. This should be moved to the Illinois Talk.Robertrains wrote:This post however should not be in "Michigan Talk!!!!"[/color]
