Customers on the Hamilton Branch are Holland Panel, Sherwin Williams, and Lumberman's. If you saw them north bound or east by the camera at Holland, they were returning to Waverly with empties from switching out customers. Flats and boxes go to Lumberman's, tanks to Sherwin, and boxes to Holland Panel.

Customers on the Hamilton Branch are Holland Panel, Sherwin Williams, and Lumberman's. If you saw them north bound or east by the camera at Holland, they were returning to Waverly with empties from switching out customers. Flats and boxes go to Lumberman's, tanks to Sherwin, and boxes to Holland Panel.

I’m not quite sure about the box cars going to Holland panel I don’t think they’ve shipped by rail in a number of years. I personally have never seen them getting rail cars in the last few years. However they may have just started shipping and because the siding goes into the building it’s hard to tell if they’re shipping unless you actually see them receiving or sending out a car.

L305-15 over the DD at MP64.0 westbound back to Lansing at 16:45 with 78 cars, 73 of which came from Ann Pere that Z624-15 set off there at noon today. In doing so,and picking up 66 cars that were set out there on Monday, GLC blocked all three downtown Howell crossings for 40 minutes during the noon rush hour.

That’s nice to know thank you for the heads up on that one. I also just recently read on RailRoadFan.com that the Endeavor elevator on Van Buren St. in Holland Michigan that’s located on the CSX Fremont subdivision has also started shipping by rail once again.

Side Note: I know the wiki page has Holland panel listed as a shipper they also have Michigan natural storage listed as a shipper that’s located on the CSX Ottawa Beach branch in Holland Michigan and they have not used rail service in years.

R599-15 @ 04:28 was told by Rouge Tower "put all 4 into the mouse". Rouge asked R599 what engines did he have & he had said BNSF #8073, BNSF #8575, CSXT #3243, CSXT #759. These engines were brought from West Olive & the CSX power was to go to the Mouse & R599 was then to depart Grand Rapids with the BNSF power but the crew had said they didn't have enough on duty time left to depart so all 4 engines ended up in the Mouse.

M327-16 between 04:34/05:04 Grand Rapids, Mi job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #451 + #303 & 87 cars (40 loads + 47 empties) @ 6,803 tons & 5,201 feet long. He’s building his train at this time.

R599-15 eastbound… 4 engines instead of 2 that’s quite a surprise thanks for the heads up on that Tom. I heard them go past but I couldn’t get to the window in time to get a good look and assumed they were the helper engines for the coal trains.

I'm guessing the CSX power is to go back to Chicago & the plan was R599-15 was going to take the BNSF power to Grand Junction siding mp CG54 to be the "Pushers" for C800-15 that had tied down in Grand Jct last night but didn't have enough on duty time to leave Grand Rapids & go to there.
