L301-13 @ 16:01 westward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG91.9 St Joseph, Mi with ?? axles (DD report was broken up). CSX engines #4003 + #8335 & ?? cars. He’s headed to Arlington Metals in Sawyer, Mi mp CG105.2
I believe CSX #4589 is Ex-Spirit of Nashville after researching this SD70 unit online. Probably repainted at this pointBL2-1843 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 6:40 pmL302-13 by Howell at 18:15 with 63 cars. 4589 +3332 + 4045 on the head end. 4045 would be a good candidate to be set out in Lansing to give a second unit for L304-305 seeing it is facing the same direction as its current single unit 8315. It will give them something else to do to take it to GRP to spin it next weekend like happens so many times.
Bets on how long until they take it south again? L302 passed the cantilever at Green Oak at 17:41, too dark there for road numbers.
L302-13 @ 20:30 westward reported by the Defect Detector mp CH104.3 Mulliken, Mi with 230 axles. CSX engines #4589 + #3332 + #4045 & 53 cars. He had work in Lansing. (Axle math supports having 3 six axle type engines).BL2-1843 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 6:40 pmL302-13 by Howell at 18:15 with 63 cars. 4589 +3332 + 4045 on the head end. 4045 would be a good candidate to be set out in Lansing to give a second unit for L304-305 seeing it is facing the same direction as its current single unit 8315.
