Indeed, correct! Barker Road crossing looking south along the GLC RR main line just east of US-23 in Whittmore Lake, Northfield Township, Washtenaw County. Final run of the remaining Ann Arbor RR passenger train between Boat Landing/Frankfort, was made on July 19, 1950.

Indeed, correct! Its the CSX main line just north of the GRR airport, just east of Grand Rapids, in Cascade Township, Kent County. Final runs of the remaining old C&O Railway passenger trains 11, 12, 14, and 15 the Pere Marquette between Grand Rapids and Detroit, was made on April 30, 1971.

The satellite image I'm seeing with google looks to have been taken at the exact same time of the day (shadows are identical) and around the same day (all the tracks in the field match perfectly). But...no train. Where did you get that satellite image??
