I was in Millington yesterday. Trains are now using the run-around just south of downtown to jockey the tankers around. There were 6 tankers at the brine site, and 6 more downtown.
In this thread a question is asked:

This must be the operation now that has replaced the loading in Lapeer off the Lapeer Industrial I take it?
It's my understanding that shipments will increase significantly and the transload in Lapeer had 2-spots while Millington seems to spot 6-car blocks. The pool of cars for service has increased from 5 to 20-25.
As is always the case hearing information 2nd or 3rd hand the numbers might be incorrect.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...
The Lapeer Industrial lost another customer? Ouch.
Does that leave them with just two customers? Loc Performance and Delta Faucet?

Thanks for clearing that up! I always thought those tanks were for Lapeer Industries (now Loc). Did not realize the transload was on the same property.
