D906 getting ready to depart eastbound from Wyoming yard. 2 CSX GEs with 11,000 tons, 75 loads by 53? empties according to their mark up. They will be setting off 58 cars in Lansing and taking the rest to Detroit, then cabbing home. Lots of bottom ash gons from the MS that will be set out at Lansing for GLC to take to the HESR.

D906 east medium clear Seymour at 18:15. CSX 385 and 862 with 116 cars. Head 58 will be set off in Lansing. Per their chat with the RN, there is an extra D708 coming on duty in Lansing right now, and they will be coordinating with them upon arrival. If I had the guess, the extra Lansing job will be taking the 58 cars at on 906 plus whatever else is at Ensel to Ann Pere.

Sitting on my deck drinking a beer and I as I hear a non-stop horn blowing in Grandville, I think to myself, “What the hell train is that?!” 😄

From the now-demolished BC Cobb Coal-Fired Power Plant in Muskegon. They're mining out the bottom ash pits for environmental remediation.

K862 is sitting at Ivanrest in Grandville. Don't know why they didn't proceed into Wyoming yard but likely will run thru the yard when it gets a new crew to head east. Was hoping to catch Q327-13 but I haven't herd from them.

Q327-13 @ 09:40am heard on the scanner, he's still inside Grand Rapids working & hearing him talking to the Rouge dispatch. Hearing him with CSX #794 & may also have the CSX #987 + #4007, all of which were on yesterday's Q326.
