Although this photo is 38 years old, I can remember shooting this Kodachrome like it was yesterday. It was a warm night, and TV crews and security was everywhere around the RenCen except here on the platform next to all the private varnish. Film was expensive and precious back then, so I only made a few exposures - this was the best one. Today, I'd shoot more than a hundred frames, and I'd make sure I had documented every car there, from both sides.
The traffic on my Flickr site for this image went from 1 or 2 a week to 5 or 6 a day. Glad everyone likes it!

What happened to the D&M business car fleet after Lake State took over?
1223 OUT! President and Founder of the Buck Creek Central, the Rolling River Route! (2012-2017) President and Founder of the Lamberton Valley Railroad, The Tin Plate Road! Proudly railfanning with Asperger's since 1996. :)
